That was pretty magnificent. I wonder how he keeps warm, because alcohol is supposed to actually make you lose body heat while it’s making you feel warm. Though, considering the amount of calories in alcohol I would’ve thought that the energy would help.
Being an endothermic mammal has it’s perks.
Alcohol makes the blood rush to the skin, counteracting the reflex that conserves heat by constricting those blood vessels, so you feel warmer, but in fact lose more heat. I figure dunking yourself in frozen water probably overrides the effect in any case.
