Broadway star, OBIE winner and Rochester, NY native Donna Lynne Champlin will star as Jane Austen in a concert version of the Broadway-bound "Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, The New Musical." The one-night-only event takes place in Rocherter's prestigious Eastman Theatre on October 21, 2008, and will also feature a 17-piece orchestra of musicians from the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and a 22-member NYC cast. The musical was written by Rochester's Lindsay Warren Baker and Amanda Jacobs and will be directed by Tony-nominated director, Mark Lamos. (PRWeb Sep 15, 2008)
